Inspired by the food-friendly red wines from the Jura region in France, we planted a block of Trousseau Noir here at Hazelfern in 2015 and are excited to share our family’s 2023 release!

This wine is light-red and chillable, but packs a firm punch of tannins that make it extremely food friendly & versatile. Aromas of wild cherries, strawberry Pop Rocks, and moss covered stones, are accented by wet basalt, bay leaf, and a farmers market floral bouquet. Cherries, minerality, and flamed orange zest on the finish make you want to come back for more.

12.5% alcohol

Geek out:

• Aged 12 months in 100% neutral French Oak

• 14-day fermentation

• Full malolactic fermentation – six months
